We borrowed a camera from bob so we now had two identical decent cameras (canon s80) to do a proper test of this effect. This time we kept the camera still and had the subject (me) move in and out of the sweet spot. It works much better.

That looks freaky… nice effect. Is the aim to have the person standing completely still while the rest is jumping?

There is no real aim to this effect, we’re just seeing what happens if we made a stereo image out of video rather than a still image.
