Here we go again
We have another project on the go, something else to keep us off the streets, and away from reality tv like you so called normal people. It’s not exactly hard to work out what it is from these photos, but I won’t go into any more detail just yet as we haven’t actually worked out any details.
A big thanks to Dan (you horrid lump of filth) for making this all actually possible.
HOT NEWS!!
New post on the Nandos Hype Machine! get it while it’s (peri peri) hot. HA HA HA HA HA HA… ahem.
Learnings
Well it’s the second day of 2007 and already I’ve learnt two things:
1. Cliff from Cheers (john Ratzenberger) is in Superman as ‘Controller #1’. He’s the soldier who cant get the auto destruct to work on the missiles. According to imdb he reprised the role in Superman II but that wasn’t on over Christmas so I cannot confirm or deny this data.
2. I learnt enough php mad skillz to transform the (lets face it, a bit crap) Flickr badge thingy. Into the beautiful butterfly you see above, our (lets face it, awesome) title flash thingy that pulls in stuff from Flickr and shit. I’ll post the php code if anybody cares, it’s probably rubbish, but it seems to work.
Hello World
Well hello, hi, how ya doin? well thats ok then, see ya ’round I guess.
Fangoria 2005 – Circus
Roll up roll up, fun times for all (except one) with a hall of mirrors and a chainsaw. Secret doors, moving walls, changing lights and dropping curtains made this corridor system appear to go on forever.
Here’s the invite:
…and some photos:

Fangoria 2004 – Voodoo
Who’d have thought performing a devil summoning ritual would cause so much trouble? Go figure.
The show involved some pretty manual special effects, and kinda complicated timings:

Making the Modern World
This project for the London Science Museum took about 9 months to complete. It’s a series of interactive scenes that detail some of the most important advances in science in engineering. Here are a few example scenes:

Have a Nice Day & These Fair Isles
A friend commissioned us to produce 2 collections of photography for his stock library. ‘Have a Nice Day’ depicts Americana as seen around California and Nevada. ‘These Fair Isles’ are shots from around England, mainly at sea side towns with the odd power station thrown in for good measure.
Fangoria 2003 – Just Some Scary Stuff
Our humble beginnings. Sometimes you just need a drill with a chunk of metal jammed in the chuck, in a metal box, rigged to a switch…. and you’re done. We also had a dead body dummy hanging from a ceiling and a thrilling finale involving a bucket and a skull, this video doesn’t quite show it up. People screamed and laughed, which all you can ask for really.
