Spotted the internet giant’s latest flagship store on London’s fashionable Oxford Street. Very swanky.

The Under The Pier Show
We took a little trip to sunny Southwold to visit The Under The Pier Show. Tim Hunkins opened this hand made arcade in 2001 full of his really rather splendid contraptions. We also ate food and drank tea. Have a look at the photos kids.

Smart list on the back of Creative Review this month from the walls of Tate Media director Will Gompertz’s office. Of course item 7 need not apply to The Flippers.
Talking time
So I saw this watch, G said he saw it first. The predictable battle broke out. We ended up both getting the same watch again. Still, these watches speak, like they really talk. At the moment they’re not saying much. But it’s only a matter of time before they become self aware and rebel against the master race. I for one am looking forward to our new punctual overlords.

The Lunchathon Cometh
an evening at 3rooms
We spent last night in the privileged company of Mr Phil Harrison and the PS3 at Sony’s 3rooms venue off Brick Lane. Phil whizzed through his (totally and sweet) GDC presentation then opened the floor to a Q&A. A few dumb questions from fanboys, but mostly an intelligent debate. Then the main event… the free buffet. We’re talking lots of excellent finger food here. Lumps of lemon and ginger chicken on a stick, little veggie tarts, posh bits of beef on crackers with shaved parmesan, cheese sticks, moose, choc tarts, big bowl of chocy snacks. Oh, and a load of PS3s in a big swanky chilled out lounge environment. AND FREE BEER!
