Fangoria ’07 – First Blood

Fangoria production has been underway for the last month or so (photos coming soon, invite coming sooner), but we’ve only just witnessed our first blood letting from an injury sustained during building. Last year this happened on day one.

This looks fake I know but trust me, it’s very real. I cannot recommend running your finger down the length of a metal tape measure at speed.

Tricks vs Treats games – Orange Broadband

To promote Orange Broadband, we devised the ‘No Tricks Only Treats’ campaign to highlight Orange’s customer services and lack of dodgy small print. We made a couple of flash games to help illustrate the campaign that were used on a microsite as well as being featured quite often on YouTube’s homepage masthead. The brilliant animation is courtesy of Julian Frost.

The concept of both games is to play the same game as 2 characters, one of them an Orange Broadband customer, the other poor soul has shopped elsewhere. Of course the Orange customer has a much easier experience, whilst the other little laptop guy has to put up with all manner of tricks from his ISP. At the end, we also had some time to get boosting services from www.p4rgaming.com/blog/elo-boosting.

Hello again

Oh yeah, we got a blog ain’t we? I guess I should post something.

A while back we went here, for when ‘the day’ comes:

of course we took a shit load of photos

Then, more recently, we went to the Scilly Isles as a surprise few days away to celebrate our Dad’s 60th birthday. We totally saw puffins and seals and shit and flew in a huge chopper and a tiny plane.

guess what? we took a crap load of photos here as well -you lucky people.

Expect a few more blog posts very soon about a certain annual party shrouded in secrecy.

Fangoria 2006 – SOU NOS

Become initiated into this surreal club. We managed to engineer some special helmets which no only allowed people to see strange symbols in the pitch dark but swap the vision of the two people wearing the helmets, making walking down a simple corridor quite a strange and difficult experience. This one didn’t turn out to be quite so much fun as other shows, but what the hell, we enjoyed ourselves.

Here’s the invite (which we built a camera crane for):

and a few photos:

Here’s some more photos of the show, some production photos and some from the party.
